Launching in the Fall of 2010, Vintage Shaun is the passion project of celebrity fashion stylist and blogger Shaunya Hartley. With what was at first a childhood obsession with Hollywood glamour and fashion history, turned into a collection of over 200 vintage pieces, curated by Hartley. In October of 2010, Vintage Shaun was launched on Etsy and within a month, it was featured on the Today Show by style correspondent Bobbi Thomas. Soon after and with a push from friends and clients, the Vintage Shaun Sip n' Shops kicked off February 2011. The social shopping experience created a salon like through back retail destination of yesteryear leaving customers with a fun and exciting way to score vintage fashions. Shaunya Hartley's passion for vintage clothing and encyclopedic knowledge of styles and eras has garnered a dedicated cult like following of a young and influential clientele keeping with the saying vintage is the new black.
