Love how I feel when people I've known for over twenty years come out and support VS. Shelli-Ann is wearing a mid 1980s white lace cocktail dress she bought at the December 2011 Sip n' Shop. To make the white stand out against her stunning brown skin, she wore dark matte hose, skinny black belt and a statement necklace from her jewelery collection
Peppermint Chic. The graphic contrast of white lace and stark black gives the dress edge. It also helps she has an amazing figure.
Annette stopped by at the Blow out sale and she took this floral number again from the 1980s and made it pop with accessories of a lighter shade. Drawing out the cream and brown abstract tulips on the lower part of the dress' skirt, the complimenting colors of contrast were again the key to great styling.
Before I go with these lovely ladies, these dresses are vintage but lace and floral are currently on trend for Spring, Summer 2012. What's old is always new.
