You love vintage, you hate the vintage smell. I say it everyday and I hear it everyday, and I've tried a number of hacks to rid my vintage purchases of that odor but now, I have discovered a cocktail that really works.
What You'll Need:
Plain Vodka
Filtered Water
Baking Soda
Spray Bottle
Directions:
Place 1 teaspoon of baking soda in the bottom of the spray bottle, mix on part vodka, two parts water into spray bottle. Shake bottle until baking soda had dissolved. Hang clothing item, inside out on a hanger, spray from 1 foot away, let item air out for a few days.
The vodka is a great killer of musty odors, you may have to do this more than once but it will dull that odor from vintage.
